Wisdom teeth

its 01.00
At 15.15 today i was in surgery to remove a wisdom tooth, my first.
I am still spitting blood every minut from my mouth. I just called the medical hotline and they say its normal and that it can bleed 24 hours in some cases.
That alone might make u a little tired. But then u stack up the fact that I have not have anything to eat since lunch today. And when the bleeding finaly stop the only thing i am allowed to eat is liquid stuff.

So i am sitting here...bleeding..in pain..starving...and unable to sleep.

Thank god there is a hockey game that starts in 30 minutes.

The bill for removing the teeth 2000:- SEK

This the little less wise Beliavski screaming sleep tight

I had one removed last summer, the gaping hole kept bleeding all day and then for like 2-3 days, a brownish fluid pours out (it smells a lot).
Oh, and have fun eating yoghurt for 5 days ;D.

Got same shit. I will have to surgically remove all of my 4 wisdom teeth... Since it most likely hurts a lot after, dentist says he would not advice to take out more then 2 at once. BTW. how long did it take to remove the teeth ?

I have all my wisdom teeth on place. But sometimes when it grow up it hurts so much... Btw, I know some people who removed wisdom tooth by surgically(only operation done by specialist)

consider urself lucky in norway you can end up paying up to 6000kr for pulling wisdomteeths

Posted: 2008/04/25 - 13:15

mine are at the correct place, so no need to remove em :)

Posted: 2008/04/25 - 13:47

omg, whiners! I had mine removed, did well without any drugs, of course its no that fun... but there is worse. And ye 2 per time is enough :) the only bad thing that can really happen is that it gets infected.... that is bad! But staying home for 1,2 days enjoying some nice cold ice cream and being able to spit blood at anyone getting on your nerves isnt that bad.... right? :)

But with a bit of luck youll survive this one ;) get well!

btw, high bill! my mom paid mine when i had to get em out ;)

Kane :) This is not a counter-strike commynity so most peolpe pay their own bills :)
Staying home 1-2 days..wtf..i stayed home 4 hours today from work cause i did not sleep anything last night. Now i am already at work.
I guess it depends on what line of work you are in aswell.

i never had the prob of bleeding out of my mouth ... pulling the tooth out wasnt so bad, the pain after wasnt so bad, but when they pulled out the "fuse" ! DAMN that rly hurt and after to

Posted: 2008/04/25 - 16:50

Oh fuck, that doesn't sound too good.. Especially since I'm going to dentist soon (after, like, 1,5 year or so), and I have this feeling that mine might also have to be removed :(

Posted: 2008/04/25 - 17:51

I had such bad pains I had to sleep in the shower, only thing that helped hot shower > headache and pains.

Beliavski :) Where I live you don't earn money till you have a job and work... now I earn money, back then I didnt, simple as that. I didn't really mean that post dead serious... i also know that the pain can vary from none to extreme. I would never discuss over something like that ;)

I got mine out back in high school. Went quite smoothly, never bled too much, never hurt too much. Just gotta be careful with what you eat and how you chew stuff until your mouth gets over its wounds.

Plus there was valium involved, so I was happy. :]

dude :(

guess in my line of work it'd be fun actually (apart from the pain)
People start nagging about shit, just don't answer and spit blood in their face.

arg ffs....

I might need to get mine removed aswell... but really cba, even though I know it's pushing on my other teeth, making them fuck up, should get it done asap... but such a huge bill, dammit! :(((
just gotta wait a few weeks until the worst period of this year of school is over and then I can go to the dentists to get it checked.
